Welcome to the Mackinac Island Yacht Club web site. The Yacht Club, founded in 1937, currently includes 310 members, many of whom are residents of Mackinac Island, Michigan. The clubhouse sits directly across from the Michigan State Waterways marina in the Mackinac Island harbor.
The clubhouse is
open from about mid-May until mid-October. It offers members
use of comfortable living quarters, a scenic porch and serves
to
members and their guests. The house contains seven second and
third floor rooms that are available
for overnight accommodations for members and their guests.
This web site provides information about the
club and its activities. Members may check out the latest schedule
of events and race information.

Hello Members, It's been a very dry winter on Mackinac. We have about 3 inches of ice on the roads, and 3 inches of snow as of today. The boats finally stopped last week because of ice in the Straits. The temperatures look mild for the next two weeks so I don't think we'll see an ice bridge.
I know you are beginning to think about visiting the Club next summer. The rooms are looking great.....and new carpeting was placed in all the rooms this Fall. I've been taking reservations and we are filling up. Please call (906-847-3363) or email me to request rooms, special family dinners, or parties at the Club for 2012.
We are closed for the season, but if you call the Club number (906-847-3363) it rings into my home phone and I will be available to take reservations all winter. And remember, Tim is available for private dinners or family BBQs at the Club. So plan ahead for next summer....
